The challenge at Less is More is to use punches or die cuts. I chose to use the fabulous "Sweet as Can Be" stamp and die set from PTI. For my first card I also used a Fiskars edge punch to frame the main image.
I wanted to see if I could get a similar look on a less layered card, so I made another card using scoring to frame the image. I didn't think I would like it as well, but I actually do. Happy surprise. :)
Busy week, so I haven't had a chance to check out the other creations at Less is More. Hopefully I'll be able to hop around on Thursday or Friday.
Supplies:
Paper: PTI
Stamps: PTI sweet as can be
Ink: Color Box pink & chestnut roan, Memento desert sand

As usual you've come up with a perfect design Ann! I really like both versions.

Pretty and yummy all at once! Brilliant card.... Love the second version best too :0)

Super cards, I really love second, the icecream is a great image on its own and the scored lines work perfectly.

These really are super sweet! My fave is the simpler version, I love those embossed lines!
I love both of these! The scoring on the second card really dresses it up!
I agree both cards look wonderful, cute icecream and lovely paper too, the sentiment is just right.

So cute! I really like the addition of the embossed lines, too!
Oooh yum!

"Less is More"
a super yummy card, ann!!!
I can't imagine eating an ice cream like this without it going everywhere but it makes a fabulous image Ann! I like the scoring and the scallops equally too.
I love both versions... I really like the scored lines on the second card. Both are sweet!
Now, see....I really didn't think I needed this set from PTI...but your gorgeous card is making me rethink it!! Love the scored lines...really sets off the ice cream cone! BTW...when you use a stamp and die, which do you use first? Do you cut and then stamp? If so, how do you get them to line up? I keep struggling with this!
Super *sweet* - I love them both!

Really like the score lines on the second card. They let the ice cream cone take center stage - which it deserves with its polka dots!
