A quick card for the color challenge at Less is More to use three shades of green. I read back through the directions and it didn't say to use ONLY three shades of green, so I've also added some brown in the plant pot and kraft for my card base. Fingers crossed that I'm not in the doghouse.
I masked a narrow border around my white paper and gently sponged VersaMagic sage ink for my first shade of green. I used a Memory Box button die to cut out buttons from an olive-colored shade of scrap paper. A dark green embroidery floss is my third shade, along with the mat and sentiment.
Supplies:
Paper: PTI white, kraft, greens from scrap bin
Stamps: PTI everyday button bits
Ink: VersaMagic sage, Sahara sand, jumbo java
Other: embroidery floss, Memory Box die
Ann, I really love the greens with the Kraft! I need to remember that! LOVE this card!

yeah... i didn't think you would be in the doghouse, ann! another fantastic LIM entry!!
ReplyDeleteThis is just so sweet and perfect, Ann! I don't know why almost everyone came away thinking it had to be only green and I'm glad that Chrissie confirmed it's okay. In fact, if it were up to me, I'd call this a winner! (I, too, love the kraft paper, bought 50 sheets of it, and then forget to use it. Slap me!)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I love the green & kraft together :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful card, what a great idea to use the buttons and they look perfect with the Kraft card.
