Less is More 17

The 17th challenge at Less is More is to pick a square and stamp only within that square. Our long Memorial Day weekend was filled with company and yardwork, but in my mind I was sorting through stamps thinking about what might work.

For the center square, I used a Studio G birthday stamp. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and added crystal stickles to the candle flames. I love that little bit of sparkle on this card, and I think it will be a good card for a child's birthday present.

I used another Studio G stamp to make a small baby card, perfect to tuck in with a shower gift. I paper pieced the baby carriage and popped it up on dimensionals. Finally, I added a PTI sentiment. This little card is my favorite of the three.

I used AMuse stamps for my final card. I really like the look of this sledding bear in the lower left corner, but I'm not so pleased with the sentiment. I need to think about this one some more.

Now I'm off to have a look around at all the other fabulous entries!

  10. I always love your cards Kingstonmama (sorry I don't know your name!) and I particularly like the second one here. There is a retro feel about that pram that I think has to do with the colours you used. Gorgeous! Vx
